WELCOME
Royal 47 is a public mature golf course located in the heart of Windsor-Essex County.
Formerly known as “Royal Estate G.C.”, the course at the Royal Estate Golf Club facility features all the hallmarks of Ontario golf. Royal Estate G.C. golf course opened in 1985 by Robert Nesbit who has retired as the Golf Professional/Manager.
The course measures 5694 yards from the longest tees and features 3 sets of tees for different skill levels. Greens and fairways are bent.
In 2020, the course was purchased by a new local ownership group, who have invested quite a bit of money in course improvements, new golf carts, pro shop and bath room renovations, new patio and sitting area, paved parking lot and many more subtle improvements. The group added Willow Creek Golf Course to its investments in 2024 and have started making similar improvements there as well. All while keeping prices affordable for the local public.

Great Golf Course and the owners are so awesome.
This is a nice fun golf course for all levels. The course is very well laid out and it's in great shape. Royal Estate is semi private so its best to check in first at the club house for available tee times and mornings are best. They have carts and equipment and a licensed Clubhouse with kitchen. I find Royal Estate provides a relaxing golf round rather than over crowding the course and at a reasonable rate.
Very cool old-style golf course. Nice track. The front 9 is tighter with a lot of trees and hilly, whereas the back 9 is longer, flatter, and more open. Really enjoyed the nostalgic feeling of this course. We’ll definitely be back.
